Headline Fast Loop Filters are specified where a response time is critical.
The filter is sited as closely as possible to the Gas Analyser, and the process gas is pumped through the filter housing at high velocity, this flushes the filter element of any heavy contaminates.
The sample for analysis is drawn through the filter element via the side port to the Analyser, with the bulk of the process gas returned to the process unfiltered.
A four to one flow rate is recommended to realize the benefits of prolonged filter element life associated with continuous flushing.
